Recycling your cans!

Don’t throw your soda cans in the bushes! We will put them to good use. Gaby and Kay enlisted their respective partners and went to work transforming ten plastic barrels into convenient, good looking, purpose-filling can containers.

These containers will be filled by you. All of you, who normally would crush the can in your hand and throw it in the garbage. Put it in a sac, a bag or in your pocket, and bring it to the container nearest you. We will distribute these barrels all over the island.

When they are full, the mailboat will carry all the cans to Nassau, where they will be picked up by the Cans for Kids organization and subsequently delivered to places where they will be deconstructed and reused.

• So you see, you are helping the environment and making your garbage lighter.
